At the beginning of the game, the player is inside a spacecraft after the earth has been destroyed. In Starbound the player is in a two-dimensional world where they can explore the towns for items, weapons, armor, enemies, and seek other planets to explore. The game is currently in development for home video game consoles (Playstation Vista, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One). Starbound is a sandbox online action adventure game developed by Chucklefish.
